Take Your Business Idea to the Next Level!

We can’t wait to hear about your great business idea!

The Department of Human Services, Family Investment Administration and the Charles County Department of Social Services, in partnership with the Small Business Development Center, are looking for entrepreneurs who are interested in learning the necessary skills for small business management.

Do you own a small business but want help getting to the next level?

The Public Assistance to Entrepreneurship Program (PA2E) will:

  • Offer a series of complementary business classes designed to help participants draft a business plan;
  • Provide information on credit restoration;
  • Educate participants on how to find appropriate financing for their small business venture;
  • Assist you in finding sources for funding (the Charles County Department of Social Services program does not provide start up capital.)

Are you interested in small business ownership?

If you receive SNAP/Food Supplement Program Assistance (Food Stamps), the Maryland Department of Human Services may be able to help you get your business off the ground!
